The Femellectual’s Anatomical Autonomy

I had the joy of Co-Designing The Femellectual’s 2024–2025 publication, Anatomical Autonomy, alongside the wonderful Head Designer, Olive Abram. We split the design work evenly and worked closely to create a visual style that felt bold, thoughtful, and true to the stories being told. I also worked closely with the talented editorial team, writers, treasurer, and readers to help bring this issue to life.

The Femellectual is Miami University’s intersectional feminist publication, dedicated to showcasing student voices through art, writing, and design. This issue invited contributors to reflect on their relationship with the body—how it is perceived, politicized, and experienced—and to reclaim ownership of their form in a world that so often attempts to define it for them.

I was incredibly proud to contribute to this mission and work alongside such a passionate and creative team, committed to empowerment and self-expression.
