DAAHO Logo Design
Intended to be used on all DAAHO media, including the official website, social media, and print materials.
Final Logo
I designed a professional logo for Dr. Hongmei Li’s research project, Documenting Asian American Histories in Ohio (DAAHO), a Miami University and National Archives-sponsored initiative. The project’s mission is to collect, preserve, and uplift the often-overlooked voices and stories of Asian Americans in Ohio by collaborating with local communities, educators, and scholars.
Dr. Li wanted the logo to feel empowering and inclusive, incorporating colors common across Asian cultures while striking a balance between a modern look and scholarly integrity. It needed to clearly include both the acronym DAAHO and the full project name for recognition. I worked closely with Dr. Li to refine the design through multiple iterations, resulting in a cohesive and professional identity that supports DAAHO’s goal to bring these important histories to light.
